Please see the special announcements below.

Founded in 1970, The Kansas City Outdoor Club Inc. (KCOC) is a nonprofit organization of over 200 outdoor enthusiasts from throughout the Metropolitan area. Its purpose is to offer outdoor recreational opportunities and to educate and train its members in outdoor skills.

Meetings are held at the Sylvestor Powell Community Center at the northeast corner of Lamar and Martway in Mission, Kansas at 7:00 PM on the third Monday of the month (except July, August, and December). Entry is on the south side of the building. Club members enjoy a wide range of outdoor activities including hiking, camping, canoeing, bicycling, and backpacking. In addition, several social events are held throughout the year.

If you enjoy the outdoors and wish to meet others who share that love we invite you to join us for a meeting or outing.
