March Monthly Program
Jano Mossman - My Big Fat Greek Adventure
March 15 - 7pm

My attraction for paddling in the Agean was seeing the cradle of western civilization, over 5000 years of history from the seat of my kayak. The challenge was to make up to 25 mile open water crossings while hopping to 15 different islands. I've paddled most of the length of Baja California Sur, multiple spots in Canada, Alaska, the Exuma chain in the Bahamas, Lake Superior and lately Patagonian Chile. But Greece was by far the best place I've kayaked. I was in the Cyclades group of islands, starting on Mykonos and ending up on Thira. I look forward to sharing my adventure with the Kansas City Outdoor Club on March 15.
