Programs are held at the Sylvestor Powell Community Center at 6200 Martway in Mission, Kansas on the third Monday of the month (except July, August, and December) at 7:00 PM unless indicated otherwise. Pedals and Spokes
June 21 - 7pm

Bicycle touring can encompass a solo adventure or sharing the road with 3000 other cyclists. Margarite Hoefler has done both and will present a slide show of rides across Kansas, Iowa, British Columbia plus touring in Alaska and the Northeast! Expect to gather some new vacation ideas from this exciting educational program.

Diving and Safari Sojourn
Sept 20 - 7pm

Mark Figgins, owner of Adventure Sports, will give a presentation on his safari / scuba diving trip to South Africa. Mark has been in the scuba business for many years, has traveled the world sponsoring diving jaunts to some of the most beautiful underwater settings imaginable. He will educate us about the training and travel preparations required, and of course entertain us with a slide show of the diving and safari sojourn.
